HO HO HOLY COW - SECRET SANTA WITH MY GIRLS

Finding friends who support you no matter what isn't usually this easy! And sometimes you just meet a group of fantastic people who suddenly become your best girlfriends. Mileage isn't a problem and you talk to them so often they know you and your tastes better than you do yourself. My blogging family comes in the form of 4 fantastic bloggers whom I talk to more than I do my own family (that's ok tho - my family ain't that nice, except for my Mom, who's just the best)  and friends. We mostly haven't even met IRL! It's shocking how well we know each other really!

One of us came up with an idea of a Secret Santa (Nishi was that you? I honestly don't remember and scrolling a month or so in Twitter messages ain't the option LOL - THERE ARE THOUSANDS MESSAGES THERE!!) and we decided on a £25 limit. It's not as easy as it sounds. Shopping within limit for beauty bloggers? Unless it's a £100, it's actually really hard. Somehow we managed and OMG how well we've all done too.

Few weeks ago I received an incredible package and I teared in to it as soon as I came home. If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen how excited I was to open it all up!. I got so many wonderful beauty/lifestyle bits, I could not choose it better myself! Thank you Dagmara (I'll link all the girls posts down below) but if you'd like to follow these crazy ladies on Instagram, Bloglovin' and Twitter (AND YOU SHOULD!), here they come:

Dagmara aka Mummy's Beauty Corner         Instagram, Twitter & Bloglovin'

Leanne aka LPage Beauty           Instagram, Twitter & Bloglovin'

Siobhan aka Beautylymin          Instagram, Twitter & Bloglovin'

Nishi aka NishiV MUA          Instagram, Twitter & Bloglovin' & Youtube

Dagmara has combined by three biggest love in this first gift! My love for an incredible packaging, my love for cats and my love for makeup come together in this incredible little palette from Pupa. It's called PupaCat 2 - how bloody cute is that??? It combines of two reddish toned lip glosses and three eyeshadows, pigmentation of which is actually brilliant. I can't wait to play around with these!!! And just look at that cat like packaging, it's so cute I'll keep it forever!!!

Continuing on cat subject and my love for fluffy socks, Dagmara has yet again smashed it with this pair from Next. Socks with cat ears are already a fave and I've been wearing them on Christmas Day lounging in my pj's :) They're super soft and cute. How did you know I love fluffy socks??? Love it<3

She continued to wow with two lippies from ColorPop. Dagmara and the girls know me well and my love for vampy lips so she got me this gorgeous deep berry Ultra Matte Lip in Notion, which I adore! I already wore it few times, which is not a surprise really, as lately the darkest the lip shade the better. I was so impressed with the formula and the staying power too! I've also been a huge fan of metallic lippies lately and Dagmara decided on Ultra Metallic Lip in Kween which is a stunning dark copper shade. The finish is superb and oh so pigmented. These don't seem to dry as fully as the Ultra Matte Lip but nevertheless it stayed on for a good 4-5 hours without losing on the finish. I adore both colours and it was such a thoughtful gift from one lipstick hoarder to another.

Lastly but certainly not least, I was surprised and delighted to find 3 sheet masks in my Secret Santa package. I love a good sheet mask and wear one at least once a week (I'd go for more but I also have other masks to attend to and let's face it - only one face lol). Dagmara knows well I battle dry and dehydrated skin so all my masks are of hydrating and deeply moisturising kind! Thank you lovely! I got Oh K Coconut Water Fibre Face Mask, which is designed to restore radiance to any dull complexions. Anyone who's pale with dry and dehydrated skin always look for ways to banish dullness so this is a hit for me. I also got B.liv Utmost Moisture Immerse Me Original Japan Silk Mask, which is packed with Hyaluronic Acid , so I'm really looking forward to this one! Again this is the mask for super dry skin and perfect for the condition of mine especially in winter. Lastly I received MaskerAide All Nighter Hydrating Facial Sheet Mask. It'll be a great mask as a before an event treatment as it promises to replenish and restore the skin with much needed moisture and give it an awaken look. Not that it's a recommendation for me personally as I'm not a huge Kim K W fan but she has recommended it too as an 'ugly cry face' cure. I don't plan on having one of those hopefully for a while now, but I have an event coming up sometimes in January so I'll give this one run for it's money :)

I still can't quite believe in all the goodies I've received from my lovely friend Dagmara as it just shows how well she has managed to get to know me and my likes, as I love absolutely everything. I love there's a bit of everything there from skincare though makeup and lifestyle with a bit of kitty, lipstick hoarder and Korean Beauty themes running through it all. And to be perfectly honest these describe my loves recently. Thank you again for these beautiful pressies girl!!! <3

DECEMBER EDIT: ALL THINGS BEAUTY & NETFLIX ALL THE WAY

I am back from wandering town trying not be pushed to the ground by sale crazed crowds. I managed to snatch a little something in the sales, how about you? Happy Boxing Day all! I thought today was a great day to talk to you about all the things that I loved through December and for once there's not 100s of items here. I haven't even gotten one skincare item as I've been using and loving all the bits I already included in my faves in the past months. So it's all about the way my nails and lips looked and how awesome I smelled in December LOL!

Let's start with the scent. This is my 3rd bottle of Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb and I couldn't be happier it's finally back in my life. It's such a lovely fragrance, sweet and heavy with muscly notes, very sexy. It has notes of Bergamot, Green Tea, Jasmine, Rose, Freesia, Orchid, Patchouli, Citrus and Musk, making it super sweet and seductive. It was first introduced back in 2005 and since became a cult perm by V&R house. The bottle design of diamond-granate already tells you what this scent will be: explosive & glamorous. And what a stunning design the bottle truly is, just like the fragrance it hosts. It is not the cheapest of scents starting with £50.00 for 30ml (currently on offer in Boots for £45.00), but if you like your heavy & sweet floral fragrances with notes of citrus, this is the one for you.

I haven't been very active with makeup tutorials recently, but finally managed a few in December. You've seen my Christmas Glamour proposition (POST) and there's a New Years Eve one coming your way this Friday. Both feature the incredible lashes I've received in my Selfridges Beauty Workshop Advent Calendar. Eylure Enchanted Into Darkness are amazing when paired with a full on glam eyes. They're fuller on the outer corners making them more 'natural' and look stunning in images I took for the posts. I used them 3 times already and they look perfectly intact. Definite fave of the party month.

I got the Jeffree Star Holiday Collection lipsticks when they launched on Beauty Bay and I adore them. Especially the two shown here. You can check out my thoughts on them and swatches in my POST HERE. I love Checkmate for being so vibrant and making my skin look amazing when wearing it. It's bright but understated at the same time. It has some orange tones to it but it'll suit most complexions due to complexity of the shade itself. Absolute stunner. And of course, let's not forget about Designer Blood, which hasn't left my lips for more than two days in a row this whole month. It is a stunning deep berry red. I tested it out for you on Snapchat and had so many compliments on how it looked. No wonder it's a gorgeous shade and the formula is actually brilliant. I had it on for 6+ hours, ate twice, drank lots, had a snack. Yes the wear was visible but nothing you can't fix with a little top up. It also felt really comfortable on the lips and after 6 hour wear that's something I'm not used to. Top marks from me!

I've been pairing my lips and nails this month with berry and reds being my favourite. I love the formula of OPI Nail Polishes. The Big Red Apple shade is just a stunning classic red, that adds chic to any look. Pair it with smokey eye or just an ear every day look. I've been pairing it with everything this month and it always looks good. Classic shades are good like that. I like how amazing the staying power is, with a good top coat (Essie Gel Couture - POST - is my favourite) it lasted a good 5 days without chipping. It would have probably lasted more if I wasn't so obsessed with changing my nails. The second shade of the month is a gorgeous Autograph All in One Nail Colour in Cranberry, that I found in my Marks and Spencer Beauty Advent Calendar. With the added benefits of Argan Oil and Vitamin E it is meant to be a base coat, colour and top coat in one. I haven't tried it on its own, as I never apply such dark shades without a base coat (Nails Inc Nail Kale is my go to lately - POST). What I found is that, yes it's quite long lasting, it doesn't chip and I love the metallic finish of it. It's a perfect match with my Jouer Lip Creme in Bronze Rose. In daylight it looks like deep berry metallic and in the artificial light it has some purple tones to it. Stunning shade. However drying time is something else and even my Essie top didn't really make a difference. You'll need a good half hour before it fully hardens. It's a big flow but the shade compensates it for me.

Good eyeshadow primer is a must for anyone with oily lids. Add hooded eyes to that equation and you find yourself on a look out for a perfect base. I love both MAC Painterly and Urban Decay Primer Potion but I now found a new primer worthy of my praise. Too Faced Shadow Insurance is a great primer. I could really just stop here, because what is there to say about an eyeshadow primer? The formula is quite oily and makes for an easy application. You only ever need a little too! It's easy to set, I've been using both eyeshadows and powder and both sets it nicely. I have had makeup on for 12 plus hours and it kept it intact. Definitely worth a purchase!

Lastly I could not forget about RCMA No Color Powder. It's been all over blogs and Youtube and when something is this hyped up, you're thinking, it can't be this good, right? Well it is and damn it because it's so hard to get your hands on! It's sold out everywhere and for a good reason. It's just brilliant. I worried it may not work with my dehydrated skin but it does, it really does miracles. It is a pure white powder, that doesn't change the colour of your foundation or casts a ghost like flashback in photos. It works for under eye baking and even fixed a staying power of my favourite foundation. I'm in love! It costs next to nothing and the only con I can think off is the packaging. You need a separate lid of a different powder to be able to apply this to a brush, but nothing is perfect and this powder comes pretty damn close. More about it HERE.

And finally what I really did the whole December - Netflix. I was so pleased to see a second season of Fuller House reaching Netflix and watched it all in a weekend. I loved Full House and love seeing my old favourites back on my screen. Yes it's silly but it reminds me of my childhood when I watched it with my Mom. My only wish it was more episodes as 13 per season on a sitcom is way too little to properly binge on! Sign up to Netflix HERE

CHRISTMAS MORNING ROUTINE FEAT. LPAGE BEAUTY

Merry Christmas my lovelies!!! I can't believe we're so close to Christmas now! I'm Polish so we celebrate Christmas Eve more and that's the time for us to sit down to a big meal with family and friends gathered together. We sit down when the first star is visible on the sky, so early, around 4 or 5pm. That varies of course and now living in England for 12 plus years, we keep both traditions alive and celebrate both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I'll be opening my pressies tomorrow and I'm super excited to see what I found under the tree. On Christmas morning I usually give myself a lot of time to get ready. It's a proper pamper session for me, as I want to sit down to brunch all glam up.

Today's post comes courtesy of a lovely Leanne from LPage Beauty Blog as we have prepared a special collaboration for you. We'll both be sharing our Christmas morning routines with you. I'm super excited to see what Leanne's little glam Christmas rituals are :) I'm a huge fan's of Leanne's blog & Instagram and I'm super lucky to call her my dear friend. She's such a sweetheart and also super talented gal, so I highly recommend you go follow here everywhere now!!! I'll leave her links below:

9:00am
Waking up on Christmas morning is the best. Knowing there's zero I need to do other than reheat the food from last night & eat & drink & eat some more. I truly cherish mornings when I'm up at normal time and not my usual 5:45am!!! I'll start my morning with a glass of water and 10 drops of Silidyn*, which is a silicon supplement. I've been using it for few weeks now and am already seeing the improvement in my hair & my skin. I'll have a full on post ready for you in the New Years, including an awesome giveaway, so keep your eyes peeled! I also always take my vitamins in the morning and then proceed to a shower.

9:15am
After, it's time to cleanse and I've been loving the Foreo Luna Play, I've gotten in my Selfridges Beauty Workshop Advent Calendar. It's a brilliant cleansing gadget and it really improved my skin, so I'll be splurging on Luna 2 as soon as battery dies in this one (Luna Play is not rechargeable sadly). I've been using my absolute fave - Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm with it and I honestly can't get enough of this. I'm already finishing this sample and so happy I've two more as a backup. I'll be buying full size for sure, when I'm done with them.

9:20am
After the cleanse, it's the time for a bit of masking and the mask I've been LOVING recently it's Emma Hardie Age Support Instant Radiance Mask. It's a brilliant morning mask as it firms, soothes and smoothes my skin giving it a truly radiant finish. I love using it in the mornings as it gives instant results but it'll also make for a great evening pamper session. It's super creamy but it also sinks in very quickly. I normally wear it for around 30-60 minutes depending on how much time I have. I wash it off with lukewarm water and a cloth. I finish up with a bit of toner and Sylveco Hibiscus Facial Toner is the best for the mornings. It's super moisturising and very gentle, making it my weapon of choice lately, as it prepares my skin for the skincare.

10:00am
I always start my skincare with an eye cream and I'm using Clinique Pep Start. It's been a firm fave of mine, but now it's nearing its end, I can't wait to test some new formulas for you. It's light but very moisturising, perfect if you're a lover of concealer as all sit well after using this. Noxidoxi Enhancig Serum Base is a great watery gel formula that's super hydrating but not at all heavy. It sinks in almost instantly and preps your skin for the moisturiser. I've been using it lately non stop as it's nearing its end and I try to finish it up. I'll miss this serum base and I'm sure to pick one up sometime, just not just yet, as I have quite a few skincare bits awaiting it's turn. I'll finish up my skincare with the moisturiser I've been obsessing over lately. It's The Body Shop Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Cream. I've been loving it for mornings as it has a rich and creamy formula that sinks in super quick and wears lovely under makeup. I use a lot of different foundations and this cream has worked great under all of them, so it's a winner in my book. It deeply moisturises and soothes my dry skin, so a perfect choice for the morning. You could probably sue it both mornings and evenings but I just prefer it in the mornings.

10:10am
Last step before any makeup, is my trusty Lush Bubble Gum Lip Scrub, which prepares my lips for all the lip products, especially liquid lipsticks. I use this practically every day, be that in the morning or evening, sometimes both. I love the taste of it and the fact you can just eat it after use. I have such a sweet tooth LOL.

10:12am
I'll be keeping my makeup simple but glamorous and I'll be sticking to products I know and love. I'll start with a base and no other than a wonder product that is Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. I have gone by few tubes of it already and it's a no brainer. I need no primer underneath, it gives me enough coverage for a day spent in pjs watching Christmas movies. I'm going to cover my under eyes with Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Bisque. I find it's great on its own on days like this when I had plenty of sleep and no worry on mind. It brightens as no other and is all I need really. Highlighting is a key and I'll be applying Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone to the top of my cheekbones, cupid's bow and the tip of my nose for a superb glowing finish. I'll finish up the face with a  dusting of Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Powder which sets both my face and under eyes with ease and is the lightest powder I own. You truly can't see it on the skin, which is the effect I love. To add even more glow to my complexion and to ensure no Christmas Tree shines brighter than me on Christmas I dust MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in Lightscapade. I usually go for Soft & Gentle but Lightscapade is a truly gorgeous highlighter perfect for the fairest of us all!

10:25am
I'll prep my eye lids with a touch of Too Faced Shadow Insurance. It'll ensure my makeup stays put all day long. There's no other eye look than gold lids for Christmas and you can truly glam it up (POST) or go slightly easier and quicker. Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Palette in Dolce Vita has all the shades you need for a lovely golden smokey eye and I'll be using all the shades to transform myself into a Christmas vixen. A little black eyeliner from Eye of Horus to sightline the eyes and a little on the lash line is all I need to make my mascara truly stand out and give my eyes a little more definition. I always smudge out my liner to keep it as simple and natural as possible. For my waterline I opt for So Susan Highlighting Pencil, which is a gorgeous light pinky nude. It's perfect to open up the eyes and for your smoulder to look fresh and awake. I'll finish up with two coats of my Illamasqua Masquara Gain, which is an instant hit. It'll give you both length and volume and it really lasts all day (maybe even a nap!).

10:45am
I won't be straying from a red lip and chose two of my faves to complete this Christmas Day look. Gwen Stefani x Urban Decay Lip Liner in 714 lands on the contour of the lip. I always over line my lips just a little to give it a slightly more pout and to keep the lipstick at bay. Not than MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo needs to be kept at bay. This lip will not stray, it won't bleed and it'll last a meal and let's face it, there'll be plenty of eating on a Christmas Day.

11:00
Bring me the food!!!

I hope you enjoyed my ramblings today. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas spent with your loved ones. Don't forget to check out Leanne's routine now & say hello whilst you're at it <3

LOVE ME BEAUTY FOR CHRISTMAS - WHAT'S HIDDEN IN MY DECEMBER BOX?

Love Me Beauty doesn't disappoint with strong 4th month being a December box for me. I loved all my previous boxes and you check out September, October and November boxes here. I love there's always luxury skincare and makeup samples to choose from. This months makeup was a courtesy of Laura Mercier and skincare followed with likes of Caudalie, Merumaya and Aromatherapy Associates, as well as OPI, EcoTools and more.

Love Me Beauty subscription costs £10 per month plus P&P. You get 60 points to spend on your beauty picks. For example Caudalie bits were between 10-15 points. You can get additional points when you sign up using my code DOROT2147918 and they will be allocated to you with your second box. You can also purchase additional points within "Your Account" section on the website. Click here if you'd like to see what Love Me Beauty has to offer!

I'll start with makeup bits I choose this month as they came so beautifully packed, I just can't even...!!! I jumped on the Laura Mercier samples as I knew they'd be the first to go and Oh My, they didn't disappoint. The very first thing I picked up was a mini Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Tuxedo. I wish there were more colours to choose from as I've heard so many great things about it. It's basically a stick eyeshadow in matte black. When I swatched it on the back of my hand it stayed put for hours so I'm expecting great things. It does set pretty quick so if you're planning to use it as a base for your shadows, ensure to be quick in blending it out, as when it sets, that's it! Second up was a mascara with the longest name in the history of makeup. LM Full Blown Volume Supreme Lash Building Mascara in Black (Did I lie??? LOL) which is a decent 5.7ml size sample. I don't want to open it up as I have few mascaras on the go now, but I'm expecting miracles as the name suggests ;) Lastly I grabbed LM Lip Glace in Pink Pop. I don't really wear lip glosses but I thought it would make a great stocking filler, it's so damn pretty!

I wanted to try Caudalie skincare for ages, so I was happy to see the brand in this months selection. I picked up three products and I'm super excited to try them out. I love a good micellar water and never have one in sample size, so I jumped on occasion to try a new Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water. I will give it a whirl tonight to see how it works and compares to other brands I've tried, but I'll be keeping it mostly for overnight stays and travel. I also managed to grab their Moisturising Mask, which promises to moisturise and soothe, which are two most important aspects I look for in hydrating masks. I have high hopes, but will wait with testing until I finish at least couple of masks I currently have on the go! Lastly I picked up a decent sized (10ml) Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum. I'm forever looking for the perfect serums and have heard so many praises regarding this one, I can't wait to try it. My fave from Noxidoxi is nearing its end, so this will be it's replacement. I also had a sample of this previously, so now have two to play and properly test. Let's hope it'll be as amazing as the name suggests.

I wanted to try Aromatherephy Associates for a while now, as I previously tested their bath oil and it was bloody amazing! I didn't like the look of most samples on offer, other than the Hydrating Rose Skin Tonic. I love a good toner, I never skip this step, so I'm really looking forward to trying this one out, once I'm done with my current morning toner.

I also received a bar of Gnaw Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate. I think it was just an extra from Love Me Beauty as it is Christmas soon and I honestly can't imagine more delicious combination than peanut butter and mil chocolate. This one's made of all natural ingredients too so I'm looking forward to giving it a taste :)

That's it from me and this month's Love Me Beauty. I hope you enjoyed my ramblings today and I see you on Wednesday with a new post. Keep warm my lovelies! <3

SPARKLE THIS CHRISTMAS WITH THESE BEAUTY MUST HAVES

Happy Monday my lovelies! I am too excited for words for this week to be over and to wake up to a Christmas morning. I will touch up a little on the way I celebrate Christmas in my Friday  post, if you're interested.  Today I'd like to touch up on my favourite subject - making you and me sparkle. There's no way the star on your Christmas Tree will be a star of the evening, if you follow few of my tips :)

Twinkle twinkle little star.

I'm all about that glow and take inspiration from a magpie. Show me something sparkly and I automatically take my credit card out. So when I saw Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Ice Cold in stock on Beauty Bay, that was it for me. JUST TAKE MY MONEY ALREADY! <3 It is one of the most beautiful highlighters I've ever seen and if you're as pale as ghost (or me LOL), you will love it. It's white but it has a understated golden glow to it. I can't quite describe it, but it looks just wow on the top of my cheekbones. As Jeffree would say, come through GLOW. It is also the biggest highlight I own. I mean seriously huge! Beauty Killer was also on a bigger side (POST HERE) and I really don't mind as I'll be using this all day everyday. The formula is super soft and just wonderful to work with. I have nothing but praise. If you haven't already, jut try it. Peach Goddess is next on my wishlist.

Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadows are always on the top of my wishlist and I have three here to show you, to truly embark on a sparkle this Christmas journey. Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadow in 75 is pure white shimmer with delicate silver micro glitter running through. This is stunning in the inner corners or as a highlight. Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadow in 115 looks a lot like peach with golden micro glitter running through but when applied it looks like super light gold with just a tad of peach running through. Another inner corner stunner or even all over the lid if you're feeling frisky. It will also make a gorgeous lip topper and I may try that look this Christmas. Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadow in 50 (currently out of stock) is identical to MAC Rose and is a stunning reddish copper with gold micro glitter running through. It is just beautiful and will make a perfect all over the lid shade or even a highlighter for someone with deep skin tone.

Look deep in to my eyes, can you see my sparkle?

There are so many palettes that have launched this year but one has suddenly became no 1 and it's Zoeva Caramel Melange. My love for Zoeva shouldn't surprise you, the quality of the shadows is exceptional and price point very decent. This palette doesn't only sport the quality but the shade selection is just perfect for anyone who loves reds and golds as much as I do. Everything is so warm and beautiful. There's lots of mattes in there too, so if you're hooded eye girl like me, this palette should suit you so well. I adore it and use daily and sometimes I combine its magic with some Inglot pigment goodness for an extra sparkle this girl always needs.

Paint the town red.

Red is the colour of the season and a perfect way to accessorise your lip and nails this season. Opt in for true reds to add some chic to your demure. I fell in love with OPI Nail Polishes recently and Big Apple Red is just a perfect shade of red. It looks stunning on the nails and lasts a good 4-5 days with a good top coat on. I know it'll be my Xmas mani, what would be yours?

Always finish the look with a red lipstick. There isn't a bigger statement you can make than with a beautiful full red lips. I recently shared with you my tips on the application and few of my faves, so check it out HERE if you're interested. This Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Mat in M401 is a beautiful true red. It's not truly matte, more of a satin finish, but it lasts for a good 4-5 hours, even with food and no dry lips either! Mine's a sample but I will most definitely look into more MUFE lipsticks as the formula is the best I've tried so far in a lipstick form.

Merry Christmas.

I won't be very active on social media this weekend, so I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful Christmas. I'll be switching off the internet (except for Skype) and enjoying the family time and I recommend you do too. Enjoy the time you have with your loved ones, take time to re-connect and just relax. Don't look up sales just yet, Boxing Day madness will be here soon enough. I wish you the very best and I hope all your dreams (and wish lists LOL) do come true.

Love

CHRISTMAS DAY CLASSIC GLAM WITH A TWIST hooded eye tutorial

Merry Christmas everyone!!! I can't believe it'll be Christmas Day in only 9 days! How crazy is that? It's been a while since I posted a full on makeup tutorial and I can't wait to see what you guys think of this super easy golden smokey & glitter eye look. I paired it classically with a  red lip, because it had to be done. It's Christmas, I'll be wearing red, no discussion! Lol!!!

Base & finish

Too Faced Hangover Primer
Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
Make Up For Ever Full Cover
RCMA No Color Powder
MAC contour duo
My Secret bronzer
Too Faced Champagne Truffle from Nikkie's palette

Eyes & brows:

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer
Too Faced The Power Of Makeup by Nikkie Tutorials
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Taupe
DIY Pressed Glitters
Eylure Enchanted Into Darkness falsies

Lips:

Make Up For Ever Lipstick in
Gwen Stefani for Urban Decay Lip Liner in 714

Playtime:

I started this look from the eyes, as I knew I'll be using shadows that have tendency to fall out a bit and glitters. I primed my lids and under eye are with Too Faced Shadow Insurance and set it with matte off white Ivy from Nikkie's palette. Using Painkiller, I created a fake crease by blending the shade on the hood of my eyes, quite high up as I wanted to smoke out the look. I deepened the effect using Makeup & Chill in the (fake) crease and in the outer corners. I used tiny amount of matte black in Wanted on the very outer corners to smoke them out a little. Using a wet slanted brow brush, I applied Wanted as a liner on the upper lid to help with covering the falsies strip later. On the lid I applied a mixture of 3 gold & copper shades from Morphe 35F palette and applied them all over the lids. I used my finger to ensure great pigmentation. I then applied all pressed glitters on to the middle of the lid by pressing them with my finger. I made these DIY pressed glitters so wanted to see how they'll do in a play and they did beautifully. I applied each colour on top of each other to create this multicoloured glitter look. I did a little flick using Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and applied my falsies.

I used wipes to take off the fall out from shadows and glitter, and prepped my skin using Hangover Primer. I applied Armani Luminous Silk Foundation using a Beauty Blender and covered up my under eyes using MUFE Full Cover. I baked the under eyes using RCMA powder and also set my makeup with it. For my contour I used My Secret Bronzer, which is amazing for pale people contour needs and bronzed up my skin using MAC bronzer in ..... I added just the tiny amount of blush by mixing two shades from Nikkie's palette. I applied a generous amount of Champagne Truffle highlight to the tops of my cheekbones, tip of the nose and a cupid's bow. I've finished off the look with brows using ABH Dipbrow in Taupe.

Having cleaned up the baking from under eyes, I applied Eyes of Horus Eyeliner in Black to my waterline and smudged it out with Wanted from Nikkie's palette underneath the lower lash line. I blended it all out with a mixture of Painkiller and Makeup & Chill. I applied the mixture of first two highlight shades from Morphe palette to the inner corners and added a little of Inglot pigment in 75 for good measure.

For my lips I wanted a true red. I started with a liner by Urban Decay in 714 to line my lips and then filled them up with MUFE Lipstick in ... which is a stunning satin finish red that lasts for hours.

I hope you enjoy my finished look. If you're planning on re-creating iy, don't forget to tag me on Instagram or Twitter using #idorottka, or send me your snaps at my Snapchat account i.dorottka! What looks will you be sporting this Christmas Day?
