GREAT HAIR DAY EVERY DAY

Good hair day with Klorane, Liz Earle and Grow Gorgeous

Great hair gives me confidence. I've been so lucky recently to discover so many great hair care products, that give my hair that extra oomph! From shampoos to conditioner, I have some incredible products helping me achieve good hair day every day.

Concern #1: Sensitive, irritable scalp

Klorane Soothing Peony Shampoo & Conditioner*

Bringing back the biggest blogger cliche together with delicate hair care is the Klorane Peony series. I use it once a week to cleanse and soothe my scalp. The shampoo lathers lightly but cleanses well. It's so soothing and doesn't strip hair from moisture. Paraben free formula is always a plus but SLS is used as a cleansing lather ingredient. I personally only use SLS shampoos as I prefer to lather to any other cleansing. Soothing & Anti-Irritating Conditioner has the unique gel like formula and doesn't weigh down the fine hair. I use it directly on the scalp as I prefer it to creamy formulas. I don't use it all over and swap for creamier products on the length of my hair. It's so gentle if you have an easily irritable scalp, the Kolorane Peony series are the ones to watch. The delicate floral scent lingers ever so slightly and leaves my hair shiny & bouncy!

If I could moan a little it would be about the size of the shampoo, as I have a feeling it'll be gone really quickly. Thankfully I've been blessed with much more to test so I tend to use it every 2-3 washes now.

Concern #2: Damaged, chemically treated hair

Liz Earle Botanical Shine Limited Edition Shampoo and Conditioner*

Holiday dreaming? New Liz Earle limited edition hair care duo enriched with uplifting geranium oil, citrus oils and vanilla extract not only cares for my hair but also leaves it looking its very best. Shampoo features the sulphate-free formula that gently cleanses but also lathers very well (love!!!). It's surprisingly foamy and makes shampooing a pure joy! Super creamy but light lightly scented conditioner is colour-safe and silicone free. Only a little is needed to fully cover my locks and leaves my hair super shiny, soft and tangle free. The scent lingers for a long while but what's most important, leaves my hair looking so healthy! Both work beautifully at repairing even the most damaged hair. The creamy formula nourishes and moisturises so I tend to use it more if I over styled my hair. With a new shorter do, I use next to nothing of the conditioner, concentrating it on the mid length and ends only. I adore the scent, the packaging and the formula. If you're looking for more mid range hair care range, I feel this would be a great fit!

Ingredients/INCI
Shampoo
Aqua (water), Sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate, Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, Sorbitan sesquicaprylate, Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl betaine, Parfum (fragrance), Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), Citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract, Pyrus malus (apple) fruit extract, Phenoxyethanol, Zinc laurate, Citronellyl methylcrotonate, Panthenol, Trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate, Sodium chloride, Limonene, Sodium cocoyl glycinate, Xanthan gum, Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, Sodium benzoate, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Linalool, Benzoic acid, Citric acid, Dehydroacetic acid, Phytantriol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Biosaccharide gum-1.
Conditioner
Aqua (water), Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, Cetearyl alcohol, Limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, Behentrimonium chloride, Glyceryl stearate, Parfum (fragrance), Citrullus lanatus (watermelon) seed oil, Crambe abyssinica (crambe) seed oil, Citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract, Pyrus malus (apple) fruit extract, Crambe maritima (blue seakale) leaf extract, Cetrimonium chloride, Panthenol, Limonene, Butylene glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Isopropyl alcohol, Linalool, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Benzoic acid, Phytantriol, Sodium hydroxide, Dehydroacetic acid, Benzyl salicylate, Citric acid.

Concern #3: Fine/flat hair in need of volume boost

Grow Gorgeous Full Bodied Volumising Shampoo & Leave-In Conditioner*

Short hair don't care? Well, I do. About volume at least. Grow Gorgeous Full Bodied Shampoo lathers and cleanses well & if you tried any GG products before, smells amazing. I use very little to fully cover my head as lather is pretty impressive. Sulphate free, coconut derived Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate is considered to be the safest surfactant on the market. It proves there's a way to avoid SLS and enjoy lather in a shampoo at the same time. For me lather is important and I have a hard time letting it go. I tried and failed as my hair's too mine to survive otherwise! I'm also a fan of the leave-in conditioner. With a shorter do, a conditioner is tricky. Very little is needed and most weight it down, if ever so slightly. That's a no go for me. I worried about this being a leave-in treatment but thankfully I needn't to. 2 pumps or so is all I need and I concentrate this serum like conditioner on the whole length of my hair. The Pea Peptides and Amino acids help almost plump up fine and flat strands as well as protecting and repairing them. If your hair's very damaged, I wouldn't replace your usual conditioner with it. Instead, treat it as an extra step after shampoo and conditioner or mask. I currently use it alongside Klorane and Liz Earle depending on the condition of my hair at present.
