Latest in Beauty The Greatest Shownman Beauty Box |
I was recently invited to attend the launch party of the newest collaboration from Latest in Beauty. The Greatest Showman The Movie, Max Factor & Latest in Beauty came together to release the new beauty box full of surprises. With 11 products it rivals the best and the great mixture of makeup, hair and skincare will surely interest anyone and everyone! Worth £145 it’s a beauty for sure. Let’s see what’s hidden inside The Greatest Showman Beauty Box* shall we?
Top hair care
With two hair products, any haircare enthusiast will be satisfied. Show Beauty Riche Grooming Balm (full-size 150ml £35) has been specifically designed to keep your fine hair smooth and beautiful. I have only used it once so far but it left my hair so sleek and shiny. The formula is truly weightless and smells incredible. You can apply it to both damp and dry hair lengths. I’m seriously impressed so far!
And if tangles are your biggest worry Wet Brush Bombshell Blue Wet Brush (full size £11.99) is here to help. It features the unique IntelliFlex Bristles that bend around the knots. It takes seconds to brush through my tangly hair and it’s painless. No breakage also means more shine so your tresses can look their best at all times!
Max Factor Madness
Max Factor is official makeup brand used by The Greatest Showman and for good reason. They've been around the industry for years and their products often rival the high-end beauty. I’m super excited to use Crème Bronzer in 10 Bronze (full size £9.99). The formula is ultra soft and buttery to touch and the finish radiant. It’s on a warm side, bronzer rather than contour so I’ll be using it all over to gently add a little colour to my face. It reminds me of Hourglass but even softer and certainly less expensive!
Another great addition is Lash Crown Mascara (full size £10.99) with its unique wand. I love thin plastic wands as they tend to distribute the product well and without clumping. The tiny brush on one side of the wand can be used for a more detailed application like a lower lash line or really getting in the inner and outer corners. It promises volume and length, so I’m really looking forward to using it!
Facefinity All Day Flawless Primer (full size £10.99) has been redesigned throughout the years. It offers extended wear of your foundation as well as protection of SPF20. It’s silicone based so it may not work best with dry skin, as silicone primers tend to sit on top of the skin making the product almost slide of it. It’s one of the most cult drugstore primers and those with combination-oily and oily types should really enjoy it.
Last but certainly not least is the gorgeous Colour Elixir Honey Lacquer Lipgloss in Honey Nude (full size £9.99). It’s moisturising like a lip balm but gives a good kick of the pigment and non-sticky lipgloss shine. I already own this shade and love it on days when I go nude & glossy. It smells (and tastes) incredible, gives a nice coverage of colour and the pinky nude shade will suit any skin tone.
Top shelf skincare
I’m super excited for two overnight treatments included in this box. I’m not one for tanning but with the many Christmas parties around the corner, I’d love a little healthy glow. James Read Sleep Mask Tan (sample 25ml, £25 for 50ml) promises to give me just that. Skincare benefits thanks to aloe vera, panthenol and citric acid as well as a healthy tan the very next morning makes this tanning mask special. I’ll be applying it to my face, neck and décolletage. I can’t wait to see the results!
Party season is upon us which means less sleep, bad diet and alcohol. Espa Overnight Hydration Therapy (sample 15ml, £37 for 55ml) is described as a beauty sleep in a tube. It’s quite distinctively scented with Lavender Oil prominent, so it’ll also help you relax while you’re getting ready to sleep. I love overnight masks and the formula seems creamy but light, so I’m excited to see for myself what’s the fuss all about!
Finishing touches.
I’ve raved about Miller Harris Rose Silence Eau de Parfum (sample 14ml, £65 for 50ml) before and I’ll say it again. It’s a modern take on a rose scent that made me fell in love with rose scented products. Here rose isn’t too heavy and old. It’s light and sensuous and fun! Top notes are fruity with mandarin and blackcurrant with a heart of rose absolute and base notes of patchouli and cashmere musk. This long-lasting scent will steal your heart!
I love fan brushes for highlighting and when will you want to shine as bright as during a Christmas Party? Spectrum Small Rain Glow Fan Brush A10 (full size £4.99) isn’t just a looker! Gorgeous for sure with the rainbow coloured bristles, it’s also quite fluffy which makes strobing a breeze. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend you try a fan brush for your highlighter.
A little glitter is a must and Nails Inc Snowglobe Nail Polish in New Globe Walk (full-size £15) is simply stunning. Shake before application formula distributes the glitter particles well! Use over a coloured formula or layer up on its own! It’s indestructible and removing it, as with glitter formula proved to be tricky. It’s super pretty and very Christmassy so worth the hassle.
Launch party.
As promised here are the few pictures from the launch party hosted at Cirque Le Soir in London.
Isn’t it one of the best beauty boxes you’ve seen in a while? It’s got my approval stamp with a great mixture of skincare (that Espa mask is calling my name!), makeup (Crème Bronzer is so soft and pretty!), hair care (I adore the Show Beauty haircare!), perfume (my favourite rose scent) and even a makeup brush, it’ll make a great Christmas, Hanuka or birthday present. But hurry, I’m told there’s not many left! You can buy it here for only £40 (worth £145).
