If anyone asks what my favourite eyeshadow formula is, I always answer without thinking. Too Faced ‘chocolate’ palettes aren’t just good, they are simply the best for anyone whose eyes aren’t as fresh as the lids of a 20-something babe. From the packaging to the something else formula that gives life to any lid, even mature. When Too Faced Chocolate Gold* arrived, I couldn’t believe my eyes! I was mesmerised by jewel tones and not so secretly sniffing the chocolate scent! Call me an addict, but I’d lick my own lids if it was as at all possible. Fancy a sniff? Winter hasn’t been kind to my skin. Redness caused by dehydration and increased sensitivity has been a nightmare so I decided to take a step back, re-assess my skincare & make few changes to soothe my often angered skin. Today I've teamed up with Cult Beauty (somebody pinch me please!) #ThisIsSkin campaign. It’s a #SkincareMonth in their London office & together we hope to bring awareness of real skin problems and how we can fix them by simply making few changes in our daily routines. Another week or so, another foundation review. Thank you to all of you for such great feedback following from my first post in the series, I'll link it in the footer if you haven't seen it yet. A Week in Foundation is my recurring post testing foundations daily on top of different primers. I've tested a brand new Tarte Shape Tape Hydrating Foundation in Porcelain for just over a week and I'm happy to pass on my findings to you. Does it live up to my holy grail concealer? Time will tell.

WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I TRIED VERSO 5-STEP SKIN CARE FOR A MONTH

Falling in love with your skin again should be on everyone’s list of priorities. I’m not necessarily talking about the usual stuff like youthful glow or hydration. I want to make sure my skin looks and feels happy and healthy. Be gone dehydration, dryness and ultra-sensitivity causing me pain. First signs of ageing are a b**ch, as I’m sure all my 30+ readers agree. You notice little changes at first, maybe it’s your foundation settling into fine/smile lines at the end of the day, or perhaps a line or two on your forehead and around the eyes. It’s scary to first look into the mirror and see you don’t look 20 anymore! Thankfully with incredible skincare routine, you can nip that in a bud or even reverse the process a little. I’m all about that cosy feeling. Winter time is usually pretty gloomy here in the UK. In the last couple of months, we survived a bit of frost, snow and a lot of winds and rain.
