It’s been a while, but a Glow in a Jar is back, and it’s a special one, as this one combines my two biggest loves; citrus scent + instant glow? YES, PLEASE. Say hello to Dr Ceuracle Royal Vita Propolis 33 Cream. Let’s chat!

All about the brand

Dr Ceuracle brand name was born in 2019, on the 20th anniversary of Leegeehaam Cosmetics, a mothership for Dr Ceuracle new brand ethos. Leegeehaam Cosmetics wanted to rebrand to be able to cover more ground when it comes to beauty. Dr Ceuracle name is actually a wordplay on the words Cosmeceuticals and Miracle, bringing you a science-based approach to delivering miracles to your skin. Dr Ceuracle ethos is simple but strong. Going by ‘We cure skin’ and ‘We cure beauty’ they are trying to provide an answer to many skincare issues by combining the powers of research and well-established data, as well as dermatological studies and tests so they can provide comprehensive and suitable advice to all skin’s concerns.

All about the texture

Texture and feel of skincare is important to me. Dr Ceuracle Royal Vita Propolis 33 Cream offers a luxuriously rich texture that melts on the contact with skin. It’s light so combo to oily skin can benefit from it but offers enough oomph to satisfy every dry skin needs as well. It’s beautifully silky to touch, like a softened butter almost butter without the heaviness. It spreads like a dream and sinks in within few minutes.

All about the scent

Now here’s why I’d call it a moneymaker cow for those who adore fruity and citrus scents, such as myself. Citrus scents are known to elevate the mood, so if you even feel a little blue, maybe you’ve been overworked, stressed and life became a bit much, then this particular scent is sure to bring a smile to your face. I love inhaling the scent for a few seconds before applying to my face. Simply close your hands around your nose and inhale deeply a few times - it’s a game-changer!

All about the ingredients

A fabulous texture and scent mean nothing without results and those come from a quality of carefully chosen ingredients and a formula designed to nourish, brighten and make your whole life better, not just your face. Been feeling down? Moisturise. Forgot to pay your credit card bill and got slapped with a fee? Moisturise. Woke up in a foul mood! Moisturise. PMS? Moisturise some more. But seriously, the Dr Ceuracle Royal Vita Propolis 33 Cream, offers, you guessed it, 33% concentration of Propolis and Royal Jelly extracts known for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties to revitalise, brighten, nourish, and protect skin from environmental stressors such as free radicals. Adding Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract to rejuvenate the skin, Panthenol to soothe, precious Camellia (Rose of Winter) Seed Oil that is known to neutralise pollution effect on the skin thanks to high levels of Polyphenols, vitamins and fatty acids,, many more fruit extracts, moisturising agents like Glycerin and Soybean Oil as well as hero ingredient Niacinamide to care for pores, even out the skin to one and smooth out lines and wrinkles. It truly is a wonderfully scented powerhouse that offers long-term hydration that adds radiance and promotes a healthy moisture barrier.

But what about the glow?

Now, it wouldn’t be a glow in a jar if we didn’t discuss the elephant in the room, the glow itself. And if the glow is what you’re after, then Dr Ceuracle Royal Vita Propolis may just be a moisturiser for dry, dehydrated, and combo skin. Despite the scent and oils and extracts, the formula is also gentle. I have not experienced any additional sensitivity when using the cream day and night for a period of good 4 weeks straight. I love how it makes me feel, the aromatherapy aspect is wonderful too, but it’s the healthy glow that it leaves me with that makes me come back for more. The fabulous formula simply works for me, and I know many others who have not tried it and agree - it’s simply that, a glow in a jar.

Summary  and where to buy

Glow in a jar from Dr Ceuracle is available via Tonic15 here in UK and shipping to EU for £32.50 per 50ml of product. Or you can get it for only £27.63 using my affiliated code: BDQBLOG.

Given it’s silky and melting texture, you only ever need a tiny bit for your day to day needs. I like it in the evening of course, but also in the morning to really prep my skin for makeup. Simply give it a minute or so to sink in before going in with SPF and primer/foundation. I find that it sits lovely under any foundation, even the full coverage rather matte finish ones.

For me, it’s a 5* moisturiser for all skin types but I know that dry and dehydrated will benefit most from its glowing properties whereas combo and oily, will enjoy the light yet powerful hydration it offers. And that scent. I’m all about it!
